Provider and Patient Satisfaction with Telemedicine Voice Therapy During the COVID-19 Pandemic July 18th, 2022 The COVID-19 pandemic expanded the use of telemedicine, but there is no literature exploring both patient and provider satisfaction, specifically in the provision of voice therapy. This study investigates patient and provider satisfaction with virtual voice therapy, its associated factors, and any correlation between them.

Federal Public Health Emergency Updates for 2022 July 18th, 2022 The U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) must renew the federal public health emergency (PHE) related to COVID-19 every 90 days to maintain certain health care flexibilities and waivers. The PHE has been in place since January 27, 2020, and renewed throughout the pandemic. The latest HHS extension for the PHE is effective through October 13, 2022.
H.R.4160 - Global Autism Act June 24th, 2022: Referred to the House Committee on Foreign Affairs This bill establishes the Global Autism Assistance Program within the U.S. Agency for International Development (USAID) to support developing countries in addressing autism spectrum disorders (ASD).
